Pioneering Foxhounds in the UK

I am proud to have pioneered the way for Foxhounds in the UK show ring.

Following on from Mulberry's success, his daughter HARAMBEE MUNGALA became the FIRST Foxhound to go RBIS at a UK Championship Show (Houndshow 95). To date she has 40 Best Bitch awards at Ch. Shows, 30 with BOB. Gala has now retired from breed classes at Crufts having been BOB 5 times, BOS (2) and RBB (1).

And now - another FIRST for Harambee and Foxhounds.

In August, PEELHUNT TIPTOE TO HARAMBEE (daughter of top-winning Australian Champion PEELHUNT RULER - BIS at Sydney Royal 2002), became the FIRST KC registered Foxhound in the UK to produce a litter by a MFHA registered pack hound, CATTISTOCK MINTERNE 97

I am indebted to the Cattistock Hunt for allowing me the pick of their stallion hounds and for help in selecting the best possible mate for Tiptoe. Minterne was chosen for his excellent conformation, overall soundness and steady temperament. Minterne's sire and dam are both champions under MFHA rules. I am delighted that a bitch puppy has been chosen by the Cattistock to continue this interesting and valuable new bloodline.
